Kalix Engineering was founded by Rogério Gonzalez, a Mechanical Engineer with over 10 years of experience in the food and FMCG industry. I spent a decade at Nestlé solving real technical problems in food factories across 4 continents — from process engineering in Portugal to leading global CAPEX projects in Switzerland, managing factory expansions in Chile and Nigeria, and defining sustainability roadmaps for over 30 factories worldwide.

I learned that results are born on the floor — not in reports. And I learned that the most valuable thing you can leave behind in any organisation is not a solution, but the capability to solve the next problem without you. That's why I founded Kalix Engineering.

The name comes from the Latin calix — the vessel that receives and transforms. It reflects what we believe a true technical partner should do: enter an organisation, absorb its reality, and transform challenges into lasting capability. We don't create dependency. We build autonomy.
